Australia

Estamos trabajando en geografía con los mapas, este de los continentes lo compré en Montessoriparatodos.es. Vimos Australia y sus animales, y para ello he comprado unos tubos de animales de la marca Safari.ltd//We are working in the album of geography with the maps. I bought the maps of the continents in Montessoriparatodos.es. We saw the animals from Australia, and for that reason I bought a tube of animals from Safari.ltd.

Colocamos los animales en su lugar de procedencia.// We put the animals where they come from.

Voy a comprar el mapa de Australia, y para entonces ya habré hecho las tarjetas con los nombres de los animales y el lugar de Australia de donde proceden.// I'm going to buy the Australia's map, and then I will make some cards with the name of the animals and the particular place in Australia where they come from.

América del Sur

Estamos preparando nuestras cajas de los continentes, en el bloque de geografía.// In the album of geography we are making ready our box of continents.

Paula dibujó América del Sur del mapa de los continentes.// Paula drew South America from the Continent's map.

   Con la ayuda de un punzón cortó el borde// With a punch's help she drew the edge.

Pegó América del Sur en su caja// She glued  South America on top of the box

Pusimos los animales de América del Sur dentro. Prepararemos las tarjetas para identificarlos y poder clasificarlos...//We put inside the animals of South America. Next stop, make ready the named cards to be able to classify the animals.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Reunir, simbología extensiones

 Continuamos trabajando en matemáticas el sistema decimal.//We are working in Maths, the Decimal system.

Hacemos como en el ejercicio anterior, salvo que esta vez escribimos los números en papel.// We have to do as in the previous exercice, but this time we write the numbers.

Y vamos nombrando la cantidad, 6 millares, 6 centenas, 3 decenas y 5 unidades y nombramos el número seis mil seiscientos treinta y cinco.// Next we say the quantity six thousands, 6 hundreds, 3 tens and 5 units, and say six thousand  6 hundred and thirty-five.
Después, ¡ a escribir!// Then to write it down!.

Caja de colores 2, extensiones

Sofía está trabajando con la caja de colores número 2.

  La caja número 1, es más simple. Consta de tres colores primarios, rojo, amarillo y azul. Y la caja  número 2 aumenta sus tablillas de colores hasta 11.

Emparejamos los colores, y como extensión al ejercicio emparejamos unos lazos que compré para otra actividad y que al final no utilicé, así que los hemos reciclado.// Sofía is working with the second color box tablets.

The first color box is easier than the second one. The first one has three primary coloured tablets, red, yellow and blue.

The second one has 11 secondary coloured tablets.

We match up the colors, and as extension we use laces (to continue matching up) that I bought for another activity, and that I never used, so they have been recycled.

Sistema Solar

Hemos estado trabajando el Sistema Solar. Nos regalaron en Navidad este móvil  que tiene movimiento y los planetas se mueven a distinta velocidad, por lo que se aprecia muy bien la rotación//. We have been working in the Solar system. We received a planet mobile as a present during Christmas time. It has movement, and the planets  rotates with a different speed,.

 Encontré estas tarjetas y las hemos utilizado bastante.//I found these cards  and we have been using it a lot.

 En Montessoriparatodos compré este puzzle de los planetas, y trabajamos asociando el nombre con el planeta correspondiente.
Así podemos apreciar la diferencia de tamaño entre los planetas// In Montessoriparatodos.es I bought this planet puzzle. We work matching up the name with its own planet in the puzzle. We can perceive the different sizes between the planets.

 Como extensión Paula ha estado escribiendo los nombres de los planetas,  dibujándolos y coloreándolos.//As extension Paula has been writing down the names of the planets, drawing and painting it.

Con esta foto hemos hablado un poco de las fases de la luna...Tema que veremos próximamente//As a result of this picture, we talked about the moon phases...Something that we will study shortly.

Mariquitas

 Este es un ejercicio para la pequeña. Es como el ejercicio de numerales y contadores. Se trata de relacionar la cantidad con el símbolo. // This is an exercice for the little one. It's the same as numerals and counters. We have to match up the quantity with its symbol.

Encontré estas mariquitas y pensé en hacerle algo divertido para cuando estudiemos el ciclo de la vida de las mariquitas en zoología. // I found these funny ladybugs and I thought that it would be great if it could be related with the Ladybugs' stage of life from the album of zoology.

 Cada tarjeta tiene unos números abajo y dentro de la mariquita hay unos puntos. Se trata de colocar mariquitas encima de los puntos y ver cuántos tenemos y relacionarlo con el número abajo escrito.// Every single card has written numbers at the bottom and inside the ladybugs there are some points. We have to put ladybugs on the points and then relate the quantity with symbol number  below.

Aquí tenéis unas tarjetas de contadores y numerales que se pueden utilizar de igual forma.//Here you have some cards of numerals and counters that you can use in the same way as I did.

Emparejando en horizontal

Este ejercicio, bien pertenece a Lenguaje como a Zoología, ya que las primeras lecciones de zoología son sobre emparejamiento de animales.// This exercice belongs to Language and Zoology, because the first lessons in zoology are about matching up.

 Nosotros imprimimos éste de pájaros porque a las niñas les gustó más, pero podría ser para este ejercicio de cualquier animal. Aquí tenéis el archivo para imprimir.// We printed this one because girls liked it, but it could be anyone related with animals. Here you have the link to print.
Este ejercicio más sencillo es para Sofía (2 años)// This exercice is easier for Sofía (2 years old)

Y para Paula, aumentamos la dificultad colocando más de cantidad de elementos a emparejar.//And for Paula we added more, because we want to have a higher difficulty

 Luego estuvimos hablando de los pájaros y vimos de nuevo el puzzle.// After working with the cards we talked about birds and we did the bird puzzle.

Ya estamos de regreso, todo ha ido genial. Así que ahora toca ponerse al día.
