Hicimos este experimento para comprobar el peso del agua.
1º Tintamos el agua de cada recipiente con colorante alimentario. // We worked in this experiment to check why the salted water is heavier than the fresh water.
1st.-We dyed the water of each container with different food coloring.
Sofía también participó en el experimento...añadiendo la sal, jeje // Sofía was also doing the experiment, adding the salt, hehe
2º Añadimos una cucharada de sal al recipiente amarillo, dos cucharadas de sal al azul y 3 cucharadas de sal al rojo. // 2nd.- We added a salt spoon to the yellow container, two for the blue one and three for the red one.
Anotamos las cantidades de sal que había en cada recipiente... // We wrote down the salt quantities added in every container...
Lo movimos bien y lo dejamos reposar un día... // We stirred the coloured water and we let settle it during one day...
Al día siguiente trasvasamos con mucho cuidado a la probeta. Primero el agua roja, que tenía 3 cucharadas de sal y era más pesada, luego el agua azul que tenía 2 cucharadas de sal... // At the following day we transferred very carefully the red water coloured to the test tube, then we did the same with the blue coloured water...
Utilizamos una probeta muy estrecha...y era bastante difícil verter los dos últimos recipientes... así que el agua azul y el agua amarilla se mezclaron....
Al menos pudimos comprobar que el agua que contenía mayor cantidad de sal era mas pesada y vimos que el agua que tenía menos cantidad de sal no se mezclaba con la tenía más cantidad de sal...// We used a test tube too narrow, and it was too difficult to pour the coloured water without stir it. So at the end the blue and yellow water was mixed...at last we checked that the water with a bigger quantity of salt, it doesn´t mix with the ones with an smaller quantity of salt.
