Hace unos días fuimos de excursión con varias familias a visitar unas pinturas rupestres // A few days ago we went with some families to visit some interesting cave paintings.

El enclave está formado por varias cuevas-abrigo en las que se pueden ver diferentes pinturas rupestres // The place is composed of some caves where we can find some cave paintings.
Esta visita me ha venido muy bien para introducir la tercera gran lección, " La llegada de los Humanos" // This visit has been very useful to start talking about the 3rd Great Lesson " The Coming of Humans"
Las pinturas representan escenas de caza, están dibujadas en el abrigo de varias rocas. Las pinturas se sitúan en el postpaleolítico y fueron realizadas por comunidades agro-pastoriles del Neolítico al Bronce. // The cave paintings shows us some hunting scenes.. They were painted in the Postpaleolithic by people dedicated to shepherding and agriculture, from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age.
La vegetación en la zona es espesa, de monte bajo y helechos // The vegetation is mostly underbrush and Fern.
El paraje es espectacular. Los niños disfrutaron muchísimo escalando aquí y allá // The place is amazing. Children were all the time climbing the rocks, they had a good time.

Debemos ofrecer a los niños un contacto continuo con la naturaleza. "No se puede amar y proteger aquello que se desconoce" // We must provide children with continuous contact with nature. "You can not love and protect that which is unknown".
