Gabinete geométrico // Geometric Cabinet

Seguimos con geometría después del repaso de los sólidos geométricos y sus bases. En esta entrada podéis ver cómo trabajar con ellos. // We continue Geometry by reviewing the geometric solids and their bases. In this post you can see how to work with them.

Después de la presentación de la bandeja de demostración, Sofía trabajó con el primer cajón del gabinete geométrico. Círculos. Con el gabinete geométrico se hace la  introducción a las figuras geométricas planas.  // After the Geometry demonstration tray presentation, Sophie worked with the first drawer of the geometric cabinet. Circles. Working with the geometric cabinet we introduce the geometric planes.

Insertamos los círculos en las plantillas. De mayor a menor // We insert the circles in the stencils from the biggest one to the smallest one.

 Colocamos de forma desordenada las plantillas e insertamos los círculos. // Then we set in an untidy way the stencils and insert the circle shapes.

Pasamos al segundo cajón, compuesto por un cuadrado y cinco rectángulos. // The second drawer has a square and five rectangles.

Insertamos los rectángulos de forma ordenada y desordenada. // We insert the rectangles in an organized and disorganized way.

 Tercer cajón: Triángulos. En este cajón podemos clasificar los triángulos bien mediante sus lados o mediante sus ángulos. Tenemos seis triángulos, equilátero, acutángulo isósceles, rectángulo isosceles, rectángulo escaleno, obtusángulo isósceles y obtusángulo escaleno. // Third drawer: triangles. They can be classified by its sides or by its angles. We have six triangles, equilateral, acute isosceles, right isosceles, right scalene, obtuse isosceles and obtuse scalene.

Insertamos las figuras en las plantillas. // We insert the shapes in the stencils.

 Cuarto cajón: Polígonos. Contamos sus lados y los ordenamos. Del pentágono al decágono. // Fourth drawer: Polygons. We count its sides and we organize them. From pentagon to decagon.

 Quinto cajón: Está compuesto por un rombo, paralelogramo, un trapecio isósceles y un trapecio rectángulo. Los figuras centrales no se trabajan de momento. // Fifth drawer: rhombus, parallelogram, isosceles trapezoid, right (angled) trapezoid. We will not work with the central shapes, at this moment.

En el cajón número seis tenemos un elipse, un óvalo, un cuatrofolio y un triángulo curvilíneo. // In the sixth drawer we have an elipse, an oval, a quatrefoil, and a curvilinear triangle.

Y trabajamos con varios cajones a la vez. // We work with several drawers at the same time.
