Se trabaja tanto con objetos como con imágenes// We work with objets and pictures.

Primero formamos la palabra, utilizando el alfabeto móvil sobre una tabla pautada, luego  escribimos nuestra palabra también sobre papel pautado.// First of all we set the word with the movable alphabet on a lined board, later, we write down our word on a lined sheet.

Las palabras tienen diferentes grados de dificultad, por ejemplo uniendo dos consonantes...//The words are also divided into different levels of difficulty, like the join of two consonants...

Gramática: El Verbo // Grammar: The Verb

Continuamos trabajando el verbo con las tarjetas de acciones y el sólido gramatical  correspondiente al verbo. La esfera roja. Y anotó lo que significa verbo y algunos ejemplos. // We continued working the verb with the action cards by using the grammatical solid of the verb. The red sphere. She wrote down what verb means and some examples.

En estas tarjetas de oraciones buscó el verbo y lo señaló poniendo el símbolo gramatical correspondiente al verbo, un círculo rojo. // She looked up for the verb in this sentence cards, and marked the verb by using the grammatical symbol that belongs to the verb, a red circle.

Otro día de trabajo volvió a trabajar las oraciones buscando el verbo, pero esta vez encima del verbo debía dibujar un círculo rojo en representación de la esfera roja. // In another working day she marked the verb drawing  a red circle, which symbolise the red sphere.

Aquí el trabajo completado // Here she finished the work

En una revista buscamos y recortó fotografías que representasen al verbo, como volar, esquiar, caminar...etc. Y escribió el verbo que representaba cada fotografía. //  She looked up for some pictures which shows a verb, like to fly, to ski, to walk..etc. She wrote down what verb was  in every picture.

El Sustantivo // The Noun

Continuando con el estudio de la gramática, avanzamos hasta el tercer juego del sustantivo, introducimos de nuevo el símbolo y la definición de sustantivo. Buscamos los sustantivos por la casa para etiquetarlos con los objetos... // Continuing the study of grammar, we move to the third game of the noun, we enter the command again and define noun. We search the house nouns to label with the objects ...

Después de buscar los objetos por la casa, lo plasmó en papel.// After searching the objects around the house, she wrote it down on paper

Luego clasificamos los sustantivos dependiendo si son cosa, animal, persona ó lugar.// Then we ranked  the noun depending on whether they are noun thing, animal, person or place.

Emparejando la vida del Arrecife // Matching up the Coral Reef

Otro ejercicio de emparejamiento que les encanta a las dos. Los animales de plástico los compré  en Safari ltd.// Another easy matching up exercise, that it's a hit. I bought the plastic animals in Safari ltd.
Las tarjetas las descargué de aquí // I downloaded the card set from here
Y aquí todos los animales en sus tarjetas // And all the matching up work laid out.

Emparejando con material sencillo // Matching up with easy material.

Este es un material barato y sencillo de emparejamiento. Tan sólo necesitaremos pliegos de cartulina del mismo color que los pompones, y una pinza // This is a cheap and easy material to work the matching up. We will only need cardboards of the same color of the pompoms and the tongs.

Aunque Sofía comenzó el ejercicio utilizando la pinza, continuó luego emparejando con las manos. // Sofia started using the tongs and continued the exercise without them.
Haciendo ejercicios de emparejamiento, volvemos a trabajar la discriminación visual, que es el comienzo de la prelectura. // By matching up we do visual discrimination which is the beginning of reading.
Una vez terminó de emparejar, recogió usando esta vez la pinza... // As soon as she finished, she picked the exercise up using the tongs.
Y al utilizar la pinza estamos trabajando el agarre, para la posterior sujeción del lápiz.. // And using the tongs she is working the grip for holding the pencil in a near future.
Un ejercicio completo, divertido y barato. // A simple funny and cheap exercise.

Emparejamiento Sólidos gramaticales// Matching up Solid grammar symbols.

Los sólidos gramaticales no se presentan hasta más tarde en la etapa de infantil 3-6 años, pero un buen ejercicio para familiarizar al niño con ellos es este ejercicio de emparejamiento.
Sofía ha trabajado bastante con los sólidos geométricos, así que reconocer una figura en 3D y pasarla al plano no le cuesta nada.// The solid grammar symbols are shown later in Infant level 3-6 years. We are working with them now, just matching up them. Sofía worked before with the solid geometrics so she is  good at changing 3D shapes into the plane.

Este ejercicio lo hace varias veces, primero pasa los sólidos a las tarjetas y luego los vuelve a colocar en sus bases....y vuelta a empezar.// She loves this exercise, first she sets the solids onto the cards and then come back to the bases....and she starts again...over and over...
Aquí tenéis las tarjetas de los sólidos gramaticales para descargarlas. Las cogí de algún enlace hace bastante tiempo y no recuerdo de donde las descargué. Lo siento.// Here you are the solid grammar symbol cards to download. I found them a long time ago, and I can´t remember the site from where I downloaded. Sorry.

Emparejando números de lija y Numerales

Este es otro ejercicio de emparejamiento. En él trabajamos con los números de lija y con los numerales. Compré la caja de los numerales y contadores en Jaisa. Los contadores de momento no los vamos a utilizar, ya que los utilizaremos un poco más adelante en otro ejercicio. // Another matching up exercise. We worked with the sandpaper numbers and the numbers. I bought both materials in Jaisa. We will not use the counters at the moment, we will use them in another exercise.
El objetivo de este ejercicio no es contar, es emparejar, es la discriminación perceptiva de objetos y su reconocimiento con un igual, por eso no importa el orden en el que estén colocados los números.// The goal in this exercise is not to count, the goal is matching up, is to recognize equal objects, that's why it doesn´t matter if the numbers are in order or not.

Aquí Sofía decidió colocar los numerales encima de los números de lija. // Here Sofía was matching up just on top
Aquí otro día de trabajo... // And another day of work.

Primer contacto con el adjetivo

Paula estuvo trabajando con la caja del continente asiático. Como estábamos trabajando el sustantivo,  escribió los nombres de los animales. // Paula worked with the Asian continent box.  We were working the noun, so she wrote down the names.

Tenía alguna dificultad con el trazado de las letras y recurrimos a las letras de lija // She had some doubts tracing the letters, so she used the sand letters.
Y aquí llegó el adjetivo....hablamos que significa adjetivo y para que se utiliza. Con el adjetivo podemos diferenciar un sustantivo de otro. Así que escribió tigre blanco, y tigre. Y utilizamos los sólidos gramaticales. // And here comes the adjective... we talked about what the adjective is, and how it is useful to distinguish a noun from another one... So she wrote down tiger and white tiger. Finally we used the solid grammar symbols...

Clasificando dinosaurios

Después de volver de Dinópolis, hemos llegado a casa con muchísima información.
Las niñas revisaron todos los dinosaurios que tenían más los que llegaron nuevos a casa....y los clasificaron según eran carnívoros ó fitófagos. // We came back from Dinopolis with a lot of information. The dinosaurs that we already had at home and the new ones were classified into two groups, the carnivorous and the plant eaters.

En Dinópolis aprendieron muy bien a distinguir un grupo de otro, dependiendo de la forma y tamaño de los dientes y patas. // They learnt quite well how to distinguish between a group from the other one by the size and shape of its teeth and paws.

Utilizaron el alfabeto móvil para escribir las palabras que les resultaban más difíciles, para luego escribirlas en papel. // They wrote the difficult words with the mobile alphabet, and then they wrote them down in a sheet of paper.
